Few things on this planet are more delicious than a pile of spaghetti and meatballs.
One of those things is the linguine with jumbo lump crab scampi and cherry tomatoes from the new Men’s Health cookbook A Man, A Pan, A Plan.
There are three simple reasons this crab scampi is better: It’s lighter, it’s easier, and it’s more delicious.
To that first point, I know what you’re thinking. Devour a big bowl of shrimp scampi at one of those Italian-American restaurant chains and you’ll likely experience post-meal “scampi face,” of which the primary symptom involves garlic-infused grease emanating from your pores.
This crab scampi is easier to make, too, because you use less equipment. With spaghetti and meatballs you need a large bowl (piece of equipment #1) to mix the meatballs, a baking sheet (#2) to roast the meatballs, and a large pot of boiling water (#3). This recipe uses just one pan (like this one from T-Fal).
And it’s more delicious because it’s made with jumbo lump crab meat, people.
As an added bonus, it packs 25 grams of protein per serving to boot. So eat up.
