When you’re an action star known for your massive muscles, you’ve got to eat right and work out hard. But even celebrities like The Rock have to let themselves indulge now and then.
Taking a day off from a strict eating regime can be great for both your body and mind. Researchers in Portugal put this theory to the test when they split a group of subjects into two groups, one that could take a cheat day a week on their diet and one that could not. After two weeks the scientists found that both groups lost weight, but those who took one cheat day a week were far happier and more motivated to continue on their diet journey.
